I'm on my way home from San Diego Comic-Con, my first time even attempting something even close to this large an event, and thoroughly enjoyed myself (although it would have been a lot better if my partner could have come). Posted lots of Star Wars news on NJOE.com, a little bit on Fight-Evil.com, and went to some interesting panels.
I checked out a panel and book, How To Make Webcomics, by some successful webcomic guys (I'll link to them later, of course- karma, or something). That's not to say I was clueless to begin with, but if nothing else it'll help ensure Jammies and Tux sticks around for a while after we really come out, and that's what's really best for everyone, right? No word yet as to whether it'll make the comic itself any better, but really, did you expect me to admit that if it was the case?
The webcomic guys were cool, the Star Wars stuff was all cool, Kevin Smith was pretty cool but had a shitty panel. I could keep going on, but there's no sense telling you guys how cool of a weekend I had, and I board the plane in about 20 minutes and I might want breakfast. Emphasis on might- LAX food is expensive.
Peace out, and promise a better appearance next journal!
~Tux
